A stretch of Rocky Fork Road near Nolensville Elementary School will shut down Friday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon for a scheduled tree removal.

The closure affects the section just east of the school's east entrance, the Town of Nolensville said on X. Drivers will be detoured through the Sherwood Green subdivision using Sugar Mill Drive, Burris Drive and Petral Drive.

The town did not specify what prompted the removal or whether the road could reopen before noon if crews finish early.
