The Ravenwood Raptors crushed the Hendersonville-Beech Commandos 9-2 on Monday, Oct. 19, at Centennial Sportsplex.
Team captain Keaton Moffitt led the attack with a hat trick. Five Raptors scored in a game Ravenwood dominated from start to finish, putting 40 shots on goal.
Sophomore Camden Greenspan and assistant captain Cooper Friedman each added two goals. Junior Robert Longard and assistant captain Canon Kiser each scored once, giving Ravenwood a balanced offensive effort across the lineup.
Goalie Reese Mackenzie turned away 15 shots at the other end to complete the win.
The game was played at Rink A with an 8:15 p.m. scheduled start, according to Ravenwood Athletics.
Mackenzie's 15 saves and Ravenwood's 40-shot barrage underscored how one-sided the contest was. The Raptors spread the scoring across five players while limiting the Commandos to just two goals on the night.
