Six students from Brentwood High School and Nolensville High School earned perfect 36 composite scores on recent ACT exams, Williamson County Schools announced Tuesday.

They were among 10 WCS students who hit the mark on the September and October tests. The score is rare. In the class of 2024, just 0.22% of all ACT test-takers earned a perfect composite, according to ACT Inc. data compiled by North American Tutors.

Brentwood High produced four of the 10. Jude Lee scored a 36 composite on the September exam. Jibran Khan, Ethan Odom and Cameron Youngblood each earned a perfect composite on the October exam. The district noted Odom scored a 36 across all four subject areas.

"Achieving a perfect ACT score is a rare honor, and these students have set an outstanding example for their peers," BHS Principal Kevin Keidel said in a statement.

At Nolensville High, Likang Jiang earned a perfect composite on the September exam and Avery Russell scored a 36 composite in October.

NHS Principal Dr. Jennifer Calvert said the two students are "exceptional leaders and contributors who make a positive impact on our school community every day."

Ravenwood High's Zach McAtee and Darsh Shrivastava both scored a 36 composite in October. RHS Principal Dr. Pat Boyd described McAtee as a baseball player and orchestra musician, and called Shrivastava a four-year leader in the school's JROTC program.

Centennial High's Anson Castelo and Patrick Michaud rounded out the group with perfect composites on the October exam.

Several of the perfect scorers also earned National Merit Semifinalist honors this fall. The district announced Sept. 9 that 95 WCS students were named semifinalists, a new district record. Khan, Odom, Youngblood and Russell all appeared on that list.

The achievements come during a strong stretch for WCS academics. Brentwood High ranked sixth and Nolensville High ranked 12th among Tennessee high schools in the U.S. News and World Report Best High Schools list released in August, according to a district announcement.

Eight additional WCS students earned perfect ACT scores over the summer, the district reported in August. That earlier group included two Brentwood High students, Liam Marassa and Aryan Sant.
