BeMobile, a Verizon authorized retailer, opened its Nolensville store on Sept. 25 at 7344 Nolensville Road, Suite 603, marking the company's second Tennessee location.

The store held a grand opening with a Williamson Inc. ribbon cutting, according to the Williamson Herald. BeMobile opened its first Tennessee location in Murfreesboro in early August, and a third is planned for Fairview in October.

District Manager Lukas Dunavant, a Middle Tennessee resident, said the company is not stopping at three stores.

"The plan is to expand a little bit more, hopefully close to 10 stores," Dunavant said at the ribbon cutting.

Dunavant said BeMobile looks for communities outside major urban centers where residents would otherwise have to travel to reach a wireless retailer. He described the company's approach as targeting areas away from places like downtown Nashville to serve shoppers closer to home.

The company operates more than 120 stores across the country, according to the Williamson Herald. BeMobile was founded in 2000 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, according to the company's website.

Nolensville Town Manager Victor Lay presented an official welcome letter from the town's economic development department to Dunavant, store manager Keithyania Pace and the BeMobile team at the ceremony.

Lay called Nolensville "a little tucked out of the way" and told the BeMobile team, "y'all are the perfect place for us." He thanked the company on behalf of the economic development department.

Dunavant said he identified the need for a Verizon retailer in the area as a local resident. He said the store aims to help anyone who walks in, whether they are buying a phone or just have questions.

The 7344 Nolensville Road address has seen a wave of new tenants. Mountain Mike's Pizza held its own Town of Nolensville ribbon cutting at the same location in August.

BeMobile's Fairview store is expected to open later in October.
