Sweethaven, the family-owned ice cream shop that started in Franklin's Westhaven neighborhood, has opened its third location in Brentwood.

The new shop sits at 7011 Executive Center Drive, Suite B-105, inside the CityPark development. It joins the original Westhaven storefront and a second location on East Main Street in downtown Franklin, Brentwood Lifestyle reported Sunday, Sept. 27.

Katie and Eric Britt founded Sweethaven in July 2020 after moving to Westhaven with their three young children in 2019. The couple noticed the neighborhood lacked a local sweet shop. They decided to build one themselves, according to the Brentwood Lifestyle profile.

The menu has grown from an original lineup of eight flavors to more than 70 signature options. Sixteen rotate daily as the "Sweet 16." The shop also serves farm-fresh frozen yogurt sourced from an Arkansas farm, ice cream from Wisconsin, house-made waffle cones and a themed sprinkle bar.

"I love that our children are getting to witness all that goes into running a small business," Katie Britt told Brentwood Lifestyle. She added that the customer experience matters deeply to both her and her husband, and that running the shop involves far more than what meets the eye.

Beyond its three storefronts, Sweethaven operates The Sweet Cycle, a mobile ice cream cart, and The Sweet Shack, a food truck. Both are available for private events.

The Brentwood opening caps a six-year expansion for the Britts. A Nashville dining roundup published Sunday, Sept. 27 described the brand as "one of Williamson County's favorite treat stops." The downtown Franklin location opened in 2022 in the former Baskin-Robbins building on East Main Street, according to Williamson Scene.

Sweethaven is one of several businesses expanding into Brentwood. HoneyFire BBQ, a barbecue restaurant open since 2018, also recently opened a Brentwood location, according to Brentwood Lifestyle.

The Brentwood shop's exact opening date has not been confirmed publicly, though the dining roundup described it as opening during the summer of 2026. Hours and the full menu are on the Sweethaven website.
