The Brentwood Ball Club is looking to hire six to eight scoreboard operators for its basketball season, paying $15 per game at gyms across the Brentwood area.
Games begin in early December. Applicants must be at least 14 years old and have a good understanding of basketball, according to a posting on the club's website.
The club said it needs workers who can commit to most weekends. A worker available only a couple of weekends "would not be a good fit," the posting states. Most shifts run four to five games in a row.
Most returning workers from last season have already been scheduled for December. The club plans to post its January and February schedule soon and fill those months once December assignments are set.
Games take place at seven Brentwood gyms: Brentwood Middle, Crockett Elementary, Edmondson Elementary, Jordan Elementary, Lipscomb Elementary, Scales Elementary and the WCPR Indoor Sports Complex. A gym map is available on the club's website.
