Runners and families in Brentwood can lace up for a Halloween-morning race on Saturday, Oct. 31, when the Ravenwood Athletic Club hosts its 2nd Annual Halloween Fun Run & 5K at Ravenwood High School.
The event starts at 9 a.m. at the school, located at 1724 Wilson Pike, according to the Brentwood Journal's fall events guide. Participants can choose between a fun run, which includes a T-shirt, and a 5K race. The club's event listing describes the morning as featuring themed activities open to the community.
Registration is available through GoFan. Runners who want to skip the morning line can pick up their packets from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at the Ravenwood High School stadium, according to the Brentwood Journal.
The race is one of several Halloween-week options in the Brentwood area. The Brentwood Journal noted that the city's library also has family nights on the calendar, while larger festivals and pumpkin patches are a short drive south into Franklin and Rutherford County.
