Road crews in Nolensville have moved to two new streets as paving and concrete work continues through the Nolen Park and Stonebrook subdivisions.
The Town of Nolensville said on X on Tuesday, Oct. 6, that crews were performing extruded curb and concrete work on Nolen Park Circle and roadway overlay on Quarterhouse Lane. The town asked residents for patience as the work continues.
The project was already underway as of a Sept. 21 town update, when crews were performing cold planing, asphalt overlay and manhole work in several areas of the Stonebrook subdivision. That earlier work was described as weather permitting.
Stonebrook is one of Nolensville's older neighborhoods. The subdivision's roughly 55 homes were built starting around 1981 on land that was formerly one of the area's last dairy farms, according to a Friends of Nolensville Parks account.
The town has not announced a completion date for the work in either subdivision or indicated which streets will be addressed next.
