Road crews will begin work on McCord Court in Nolensville's Nolen Park and Stonebrook subdivisions on Monday, Oct. 26, the latest phase of an ongoing road improvement project.

The Town of Nolensville posted a schedule for McCord Court that runs through Monday, Nov. 2:

  • Oct. 26: Manhole covering on McCord Court
  • Oct. 28: Milling on McCord Court
  • Oct. 29: Manhole covering on McCord Court
  • Nov. 2: Paving on McCord Court

A graphic accompanying the town's announcement shows road repair areas marked on several additional streets: Nolen Park Circle, Michelle Court, Brownstone Court, Rockwood Road, Acorn Court, Bluegrass Road, Quarterhorse Lane, Meadow Creek Lane, Creekside Drive and Mill Creek Lane. The town did not publish specific dates or work types for those streets in the announcement.

The project has been underway for weeks. In an Oct. 6 post, the town said crews were performing extruded curb and concrete work on Nolen Park Circle and a roadway overlay on Quarterhouse Lane. The town's graphic spells that street "Quarterhorse Lane," while the earlier Instagram post used "Quarterhouse Lane."

The town has warned that traffic may be reduced to one lane while crews are working and that traffic control personnel will be on site to direct vehicles through work areas. Motorists should expect delays and allow extra travel time when traveling through the construction zones.

Residents in active construction areas should not park on the street until final paving is complete. The town said keeping vehicles off the roadway allows crews to safely complete the work.

At least one resident has pushed back on the town's communication about the project. A commenter on the town's Facebook page during an earlier phase said roads were fully closed without warning signs, calling it "poor communication from the town."

The town said it will provide updates if the schedule changes.
