Nolensville residents can scan their way to deals at local businesses throughout October as the town celebrates 30 years since its 1996 reincorporation.
The Town of Nolensville and Visit Franklin, the Williamson County Convention & Visitors Bureau, launched the Explore Nolensville Digital Passport on Thursday, Oct. 1. The program runs through the end of the month, according to the town's Founders Day page.
Participating businesses are offering deals and promotions tied to the milestone anniversary. To take part, residents look for the program's QR code posted at participating locations, scan it with a smartphone and browse available offers. The town has not published a list of participating businesses or a total count.
The passport is part of a broader Founders Day celebration, which included a 30-Year Time Capsule burial at Town Hall on Saturday, Oct. 3. The capsule will remain sealed until October 2056.
Official Founders Day T-shirts went on sale Oct. 1 and remain available through the end of the month. Residents can also stop by Town Hall to take a photo with the Founders Day selfie board and visit the time capsule's commemorative plaque bench.
The town posted on X on Oct. 9, urging neighbors to support local businesses during the passport program.
Nolensville's next scheduled community event is the Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, Nov. 7.
