Road crews will be back in two Nolensville neighborhoods starting Monday, Oct. 12, with milling, manhole adjustments and paving scheduled in both Nolen Park and the Stonebrook Subdivision.

The Town of Nolensville announced the work on its Facebook page Saturday, Oct. 10, saying paving is also scheduled for Nolen Park during the week.

The Oct. 12 phase is the latest in a road improvement project underway in both neighborhoods since at least late September. Crews performed cold planing, asphalt overlay and manhole work in Stonebrook as of Sept. 21, according to the town's social media account.

Leading up to the new phase, the town scheduled milling on Rockwood Road on Oct. 1 and patching on Nolen Park Circle on Oct. 2. Asphalt overlay on Rockwood Road and Acorn Court followed Oct. 5.

As we reported Oct. 8, crews had already shifted to Nolen Park Circle and Quarterhouse Lane for curb and concrete work.

Traffic and parking

The town has advised residents in earlier phases of the project that traffic may be reduced to one lane while crews are working. Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct vehicles through work areas.

Residents should not park on the street in active construction areas until final paving is complete.

Motorists passing through the construction zones should expect possible delays and allow extra travel time. All road construction is weather permitting.

The town has not announced a completion date for the current round of work. Residents can check nolensvilletn.gov/news for updates on affected streets and scheduling changes.
